A Letter of Remembrance to Corey Rudl...by Derek Gehl

For those who do not know who is Corey Rudl, I am reproducing "A Letter of Remembrance to Corey Rudl..." by Derek Gehl who is the current CEO of Internet Marketing Center.

This is published in IMC's newsletter of 2 June 2006 Special Editions.

"Dear Corey,

I find myself at a loss for words today... the anniversary of
your tragic passing.

Memories of June 2, 2005 have rushed back -- getting the news,
dealing with the shock, the grief. Then, fighting to be strong
for the staff, the family, and the tens of thousands of your
loyal fans who couldn't believe it either...

... All when I was sadder than I've ever been.

How could someone so young, 34, at the height of his success
both personally and professionally -- someone who inspired
1,000s of people to pursue and achieve their personal best
-- be taken from us so soon? Too soon...

However, Corey, I know you...

So I know that you would be annoyed (okay, you'd be downright
pissed off) if I spent today focusing on what we've lost.

Because I know what we've accomplished here in the last year
would make you incredibly proud.

In a situation that would have destroyed many companies, we
dug deep, worked endless evenings and weekends, and applied
everything you taught us about hard work and perseverance
to make sure your legacy continued.

In just 12 months, we've released NINE educational and software
products including:

* The eBay Millionaire Course
* Warp Speed Wealth
* Blogging For Dollars
* Version 2006 of your legendary Insider Secrets course
* Mailloop 7.0
* eBook Pro 6.0
* The Ultimate Internet Entrepreneur (your last interview)

... plus more!

We've graduated over 100 more clients from our Advanced Mentoring
Program... we've published 12 more issues of the "Secrets To Their
Success" Newsletter...

... And we've held more than a dozen seminars, all over the world
including London, Sydney, Toronto, and cities all across the USA,
meeting face-to-face with the 1,000s of loyal customers who so
warmly embraced us, despite the "changing of the guard."

Most important, though, Corey, are the success stories.

You'd be so proud of all the people we've lifted up and helped to
start Internet businesses -- giving them self-sufficiency and
incomes that have changed their lives.

We still continue to receive 100s of testimonials from people
who are using the information and tools we're providing.

So Corey, today I will be strong and fight the sadness
that threatens my heart again, and instead I will focus on
celebrating your life and legacy.

I know that's what you'd have wanted.

We remember your spirit. You continue to inspire us.
Thank you for taking a chance... on all of us.

Still your biggest fan,

Derek Gehl
