12 young PAP Member of Parliment (MP) have launched a blog site http://www.P65.sg in an effort to stay in sync with Singapore's young.
These 12 MPs are all born after 1965 (thus P65) and have been tasked by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong with connecting better with Singapore's post-independence generation.
According to Mr Lim Wee Kiak (MP for Sembawang GRC), the aim of the blog is to link up with net-savvy youngsters who get the bulk of their information online, and who might prefer sharing their views here - as reported by the Straits Times on 05 Oct 2006.
Let's hope that the blog will enhance the communication between the younger MPs and the younger population.
You can read the MP's blog at http://www.P65.sg
The internet is here is to stay and now, even politicians are using the internet to reach out to the population.
More and more companies will also do the same by putting their businesses online. Blogs is also a good way to stay in touch with customers by giving them update on promotion, launching of new products/services and even to collect feed back from customers when they comment on your product or services.
You too should start getting your presence on line today. The good news is that you can do so for free by starting a blog or even having your website for free at Google Page Creator.
